Desert Ironwood is a gorgeous and distinctive timber; its heartwood runs from brilliant crimson red streaks, through darker maroon tones. This wedding band is hit with a perpendicular brushing for a modern, everlasting aesthetic.
All rings with timber at Thorum are sealed in a vacuum, and finished with pressurized marine (boat) epoxy. We've been making rings for nearly 10 years, and take great pride in the durability, and uniqueness of our designs. Each ring comes with a 1 year no questions asked guarantee.

We offer hassle-free exchanges for any reason for a nominal $25 restocking fee. This includes your return shipping, the cost to ship the new ring, repackaging, restocking labor, sanitizing, and hand-polishing.
Feel free to keep the silicone ring your original package includes, otherwise please include it in your exchange and we’ll ensure to swap it out for the appropriate size.

2. Wait for your new ring to arrive in the mail.
3. Package up the ring that does not fit and ship it back with the return label we will provide you.

Original exchanges must be initiated within 30 days from the delivery date of original order. Subsequent exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the exchange.

I purchased my husband this beautiful ring when we got married in October 2023. He is a diesel mechanic and truck driver. this ring has withstood the wear and tear of his work but the color has slowly faded over time probably due to substances like motor oil. Overall he is satisfied with the material and it being durable with his work!

In person, this ring looks exactly like the pictures. I would even go as far to say it looks better because there are details in person that you can't see in the pics. I was surprised by has durable it is. I've dropped it from a bathroom counter top and it was unblemished. Went rock climbing, ziplining, done yard work and the ring looks the same as the first day I took it out of the box. I'm definitely going to buy another ring from this company. It definitely delivered above my expectations

My fiancé got it for me as a complement to the engagement ring I got for her and I love it! I love how comfortable it is and the shine that it gives. The desert iron wood in the middle of the ring gives great contrast to the gold of the ring.
Northbands absolutely killed it! This ring is exactly what I was looking for. Equal parts old school traditional and something you would imagine pulling out of a pirate's treasure chest. Please excuse the dirty flat top, but after putting this little guy through a couple busy brunch shifts I realized that probably needed a half size smaller if I didn't want to lose the dude in the fryer. Northbands made that process super easy and fast! Thanks guys for the awesome workmanship and excellent customer service!
This ring is beautiful! Very well made and great quality. It also came in a nice wooden box. My fiancé can’t wait to wear it when we get married! Highly recommend Thorum.
It looks great and fits well. My only complaint is that the wood band is pretty dark unless there's a bright lite shining on it. Most of the time, you can't tell that it's wood and it just looks like a dark band. But it still looks good against the brushed gold texture of the rest of the ring.
